Falling for a con man is the most dangerous game of all…

Con artist Austin Shaw’s been in disguise so long he’s not sure where his fake identities end and he begins. Now that he’s been strong-armed into working for a specialized undercover unit working with the Chicago police—criminals with unique “skills”—the last thing he needs is to risk his iron control. Especially when it comes to a certain stunningly sexy hacker who tempts him with every look of disdain.

Polly Banks will never, ever trust a con man. On the trail of a ruthless crook who destroyed the only family she’s ever known, Polly is unnerved by the shadow who follows her every move. The one who makes her pulse pound and breath short with lust. Austin. He’s infuriating, enigmatic, and pure sex appeal, and she’s determined to resist him.

But an untrustworthy man of disguise can become anyone he wants…including a man that Polly must trust if she’s to escape their dangerous game alive.

*Happy dance*

Yeah, I have waited for this for a while…a long, long while.  I have wanted nothing more than to know the background stories of Austin and Polly, which let me say is pretty crazy.  I have also waited for the day in which Austin and Polly will finally realize that there is no one else on this earth that is better suited for them than each other.  Dear me, it happened and it was so glorious. This book right here is why I love Tessa Bailey.  Everything about it was magnificent.

I can’t say what I loved the most because I basically loved all of it.  I loved Austin and his sexy and adorable ways.  Seeing as he can’t fathom Polly ever being in danger, he starts to follow her around and realizes that whom she is seeking is the same man that is seeking him.  This leads to a Pandora’s box of discover on Polly and Austin’s past.  It also leads to a start of certain (very dirty talking and naughty all the way around) encounters between two of my favorite characters.  What I loved about this is that Austin, being the extreme alpha male that he is, realizes that Polly needs control in these situations so he hands over the reins and these certain encounters turn out to be so hot!  It is kinda what I lived for in this book.  I craved their next encounter.

But there is also more to this story than just the beginning of a relationship.  Reading how time amongst each other slowly tears down their walls and allows both Austin and Polly the ability to confess needing each other was beautiful.  Two strong-headed individuals finally realizing that they could be more with the other’s help made me cheer.

And there is also the fact that something shady is going down in the town of Chicago and both Polly and Austin (and the rest of the crew) are on the case.  This includes a new member, who so far has a very intriguing past and I hope he is the next book in this series.

On a side note: let’s talk about the tea.  One of the cutest thing that Austin could ever do and it made me love him 100 times more.
