No More Mr. Nice Guy…

The moment AJ Walsh sees the sexy, tattooed pixie walk up to his bar, it's lust at first sight. He's always been labeled the "nice" guy―opening doors, buying flowers, and never, ever having one-night stands. But with this wicked little angel with red lips and unfathomably dark eyes? Oh, yeah. Tonight, "nice" has nothing to do with it...

Brett Conlon is trying to convince her family that she's put away her reckless wild girl side for good. Nothing―and no one―could be better for her reputation than golden boy AJ Walsh. So they make a deal: if he plays The Good Boyfriend for her family, he can be a very, very bad boy with her. Now their one naughty night is about to turn into a whole lot of trouble...

I guess I missed reading the second book in this series, which would have been nice but I don’t think it was necessarily needed to read the third book.  However, I did read the first a while ago (hooray) and I will say that I enjoyed this book more than the first.

I felt like the two main characters, AJ and Brett, were developed more making it easier on the reader to really like their character’s personalities.  For instance, Brett is not your average ‘girl next door’; she is a tattoo artist that wants to run one of her family’s tattoo parlors.  AJ is a co-owner of a nightclub, and acts like the ‘nice’ guy while around his family and friends however; he has a wild streak that sparks once he meets Brett.

Both strike up a deal: Brett uses AJ as a fake boyfriend to please her family while AJ uses Brett for her wild side ways.  They find that there is a lot more chemistry between them than what they felt their first night together.

Speaking of their chemistry, it was pretty hot!

However, this book isn’t all about Brett and AJ’s deal; it has a deeper level to it. Brett needs to prove to her family that she has set aside her wild ways and is responsible enough to run the business.  AJ holds a secret that has kept him being the ‘nice’ guy for years but that isn’t who he is.  Both find that they need each other…
