Can we say AAAAMMMMMAAAAZZZZIIIINNNGGGG!!!!! Penelope Douglas is a favorite author of The BookWhisperer after so little time. I think everything she touches is golden. Maddox jumped into the spotlight in book two of the Fall Away series, and I never imagined I would love his character as deeply as I have discovered. Don't get me wrong he can really be a grade A ASS, but underneath all of those layers he loves completely and with everything he has. Which is a whole heck of a lot I just discovered. Fallon is my new girl crush. I love every bit of her dependence and determination. She is has had a horrible life, but I can't help but still love her Father. Even though, he has played in the background he has done it with the intention of teaching tough love. Fallon parents have not given her the easiest road, and I see the thought process in teaching her how to overcome and persevere make very good sense. I anticipate there is way more to his character that we have yet to see. Even with her tough lesson, Fallon naturally loves just as deeply as Maddox. The union of these two is awe worthy like the grand finale at the largest fireworks show ever to exist. The sexual content of this novel seemed like night and day to Bully, but I think it fit the characters. This could not have been your lovey dovey take a walk through rose petals story, and I think that it was just perfect. Be prepare to laugh, cry, and rage as this story is one that will have you all twisted up on the inside. I don't know that I can find one single moment that I would change in this story. Everything was so perfectly placed that it was an amazing roller coaster from start to finish. On a side note, Jax is my new favorite character, and I am predicting that we will see much more of his character in the next book. (*Cough, *Cough, I bet he is the spotlight next.) I can not wait for more, and this is one of those series that you race through the story only to drive yourself mad waiting for the next. Penelope Douglas is an incredibly awesome author that has the perfect style of writing wrapping humor, intensity, and action all into one non stop thrilling journey. She does not leave you a second to wonder, and will keep you in suspense til the very end. Thank you Penelope, for the type of stories that prove exactly why many of us are so addicted to reading. This is the kind of story that makes it all worth it!!

Penelope Douglas is a writer in Las Vegas. Born in Dubuque, Iowa, she is the oldest of five children.
