BookWhisperer Rating:

Warning: This book is meant for mature readers who are 18+. It contains explicit language, and graphic sexual content.

Jack was a rock star on the way to fame. Leila was following her dream and joining his band as a back-up singer. An insane attraction sparked between them that they couldn’t deny. Attraction quickly led to so much more. They ignored all the warnings and fell in love.

When the couple embark on their tour, they couldn’t be more excited to travel the country hand in hand on the way to stardom. The road ahead is filled with miles and miles of possibilities. Along with their band, Devil’s Lair, they feel nothing could stop them.

An angry ex-band-mate, a pregnant ex-girlfriend, and never-ending Internet gossip all attempt to wreak havoc on their developing relationship. New love does not mix well with stress, pressure and guilt. Together they face each and every challenge, stubbornly fighting for what they have. Will their determination be enough?

Jack and Leila's story continues in fast moving 2nd installment. With the introduction of Jessa and Danny readers were left expecting one heck of a follow up. Front & Center offers just that. Hearts will break and ties will be tested throughout the entirety of this story. I continued to fall in love with both of these characters. I just love the author raw take on their personalities. While they are living lives packed full of drama it is kept realistic and believable. It is not the typical cobweb of lies, but rather two characters that are brutally honest and genuine with not only one another; but also everyone else in there lives. This is not another example of characters that are their own worst enemies. They are a couple of destined lovers that will make it through together. I love that!!! It is refreshing with so many books that portray relationship of lies; even if they are with the best intentions. Back-Up was more of Leila story as she becomes part of Jack's life and begins her journey to stardom, but Front & Center through Jack directly into the limelight. At least differently than he was used to, and with a less glamorous environment. Now, don't get me we are still following the story in alternating chapters, but it is will be Jack's changes and life bumps directing the course. With the development of this book I look for the next book to pull Leila into the front yet again. I am happy with the developments, and to see her able to follow more of her own dreams. I only hope that in the end we can see a HEA that will allow them both everything their hearts desire.
