Appearances can be deceiving.
Payton Clare, the easy-going, fun-loving party girl, moves to Del Mar, California to be closer to her best friend. No one knows that a violent act in her past has left her damaged beyond repair.
She finds it hard to trust men, especially Jack De Luca, the badass, motorcycle-riding, undercover cop who had the potential to turn into something more. Jack’s been absent from her life for years and has just ridden back in town and struggles with his own personal demons.
Can they find their way back to each other, overcoming their pasts to make a life worth living together?

our thoughtsSweet Ride is the second book to the Ride series by Megan Lynn Moores. This series is the perfect mix of good and bad. Everyone has to love rough and rugged biker men, but when you at their dimensional personalities I fall in love every time. I would say the most captivating aspect of these stories are hands down the characters. While I feel that Moores has a bit of a different taste for the female character, and I find myself occasionally frustrated with her female leads. I am sold when it comes to her male leads. The perfect specimen lays in her descriptions and details of Ryder and Jack. I think I said in my status update that reading this story was like watching a ping pong match: Jack, Ryder, Jack, Ryder, Jack, Ryder, dang it can't I just have them both. I still found a couple problems with this story, and while I don't really mind the detail in which these stories delve sexually. I still find myself feeling overwhelmed with it. Occasionally, I find the situation that end in sexual encounters to be uncharacteristic. I think sometimes there is a limit that changes the story and pushes it into overkill. Both of these stories have teetered on the edge, and I would had for something that small to being the value of the story down. Overall, I love these stories and can not wait for more. I think I am most excited about the next couple than I have been with any of the other characters. ~BookWhisperer Reviewer JO~
