Waking up in Vegas was never meant to be like this.

Evelyn Thomas’s plans for celebrating her twenty-first birthday in Las Vegas were big. Huge. But she sure as hell never meant to wake up on the bathroom floor with a hangover to rival the black plague, a very attractive half-naked tattooed man, and a diamond on her finger large enough to scare King Kong. Now if she could just remember how it all happened.

One thing is for certain, being married to rock and roll’s favourite son is sure to be a wild ride.

I was completely surprised by this book.  It wasn’t anything like I thought it would be.  Evelyn wakes up in Vegas and finds herself married to a man who she does not know and does not remember anything about the wedding.

What follows after the marriage is filled with angst, humor, sexiness, and breaking down the walls to really get to know each other.  David invites Evelyn to his house until the media stops hounding her about their sudden marriage and during their time spent together, Scott shows small flash backs of their time in Vegas and what drew them together in the first place.  These little clips showed me who David really was even when he showed his hard interior to Evie because he was hurting.

This was a one sitting read for me.  I could not put it down.  Everything about this book made me happy.  I loved the fact that Evelyn was the kind of woman that did not over react to everything that happened nor did she let David just walk all over her.  She held her cool the entire book; she was the perfect female character.

Trust me; just read it. And I can’t wait for book 2.
