BookWhisperer Rating:
Werewolves are real. And they make excellent pets.
Owning one of the legendary creatures is the latest fad. The WereHouse insists their werepets are loyal, docile, and 100% safe, but what happens when these gentle giants turn on their masters?
While on a routine EMS call, paramedic Christine Alt is attacked by a rogue werepet. She escapes with her life, but the encounter leaves her with more than just scars. As her body begins to change, she discovers the WereHouse is hiding a terrible secret, and they will stop at nothing to keep her from exposing them.
Tamed started out as something intriguing and new. In the first couple chapters I was anticipating an action packed and interesting story. The concept of the werehouse, and tamed werewolves was a twisted and inventive way to build a story. Although, shortly into the story I felt that it fell off and lost its momentum. This was largely to do with its undeveloped characters that should have been enticing the readers to keep going. The story was a simplistic idea that would have had massive potential with the right characters and action sequence, but as it was displayed lost my interest.
