As proven in Forever My Girl, Laughlin is quite a talented author. After tying up Liam and Josie’s story it was interesting to see her continue this story with Nick. When a story of such intense emotion tears the readers apart with characters choices; I was quite happy to see her carry on by showing Nick’s happily ever after. It was intriguing to follow him through as he recovers from the betrayal and heart break to unfold into a loving and tender romance. While I must say that this story did not carry me a strenuously as Forever My Girl; it was still a very powerful and enjoyable read. Props to Laughlin, and I look forward to seeing more of her talented stories in the future.
