About the book:

On the same night of her friend’s tragic death, Claudia Emerson encounters another world, Crossroads, through her dream. There, she learns about a mix breed of angels and humans, who possess supernatural powers. Among those with these powers, lies evil, known as the fallen. Mystified by her ability to enter this place called Crossroads, certain that the fallen will be after her, she is assigned a guardian angel named Michael. Aden, the fallen leader, is convinced that Claudia holds the key to help destroy Crossroads. Her dream becomes a nightmare as more secrets are revealed, about who she really is, and the true identities of the people she loves most.

Reviews Plate Crossroads is another riveting story of the love between a young girl and angel. After several other releases with this same general storyline I was nervous shortly after starting; the story seemed to slow and slightly forced. If I was asked what I would rate the story at that point I would have to say it would have regretfully said a three. I was missing the deep connection of the main characters, and felt that the romance was more pushed than felt. Although, shortly after I would have had to eat my words. Mary Ting offers a slow start, but as the story amps up it takes on a life of its own. With perseverance readers will find that the author  finds her comfort, and build a story that we all crave. Michael and Claudia are very special characters that will shine throughout the story. With genuinely pure hearts they both are willing to risk everything for the ones they love.  With a forbidden love they are a secret only to the cavalry, and it may cost them both their lives. I was not only entranced by these two characters, because all of the characters are imaginative and creatively written. I see a twist in the future with later characters, and I am anxious to see where the story takes them. It is obvious that the story of Michael and Claudia will not stop here, and I think that the second book to reshape the story. This was well worth the time reading and recommending.

I Love Crossroads by Mary Ting! It's a must read for everyone! Put the vampires aside for awhile and enjoy ANGELS! Especially Michael! It's wonderful to read about strong female characters and Claudia is just that!
