Book Tour: Low Red Moon Interview and Giveaway

low red moon
Recently released Low Red Moon was an exhilarating read that I thoroughly enjoyed. If you have not had a peek for yourself check out my book review.
Here’s the book trailer from Devlin's website.

I had the pleasure of getting to ask Ivy some questions about her book. Here is what she had to share. FYI, I was also informed the sequel to Low Red Moon will be coming early 2012. Can we say sign me up?

Q&A Ivy Devlin
Q: Low Red Moon seemed to be a mystery wrapped in a paranormal romance, was this your intention?
A: I did want a mystery--the idea told me I had to have one!--and I wanted it to be just as important as the paranormal aspect.
Q: The stereotypes/myths for werewolves are different in your book. Where did this idea come from?
A: From my total lack of reading YA paranormal fiction, LOL! Seriously, I just wanted to retell Little Red Riding Hood. I didn't worry about what is cool or whatever.
Q: Your story carries a environmentally friendly feel; what are your feelings and comments on this?
A: It's part of the story--it's how Avery and her parents are--it came out as I was writing and I enjoyed writing it.
Q: Are you working on anything else? What is to be expected from Ivy Devlin in the future?
A: Hopefully--fingers crossed--more books!
To my followers you know how much I love a good giveaway, and the wonderful publicist at Bloomsbury Books is allowing me to giveaway a copy of this awesome book. YAY!

~ One of my favorite werewolf stories is Blood and Chocolate by Annette Curtis Klause. It's totally different from the movie of the same name.

This is a tough question. At first I thought I didn't know that many books with werewolves but then they started popping into my head. I think right now The Dark Divine might come out at the top of my werewolf story list. It could change tomorrow, though. :)

My favorite werewolf story is The Dark Devine, I'm probably the only person on this planet that didn't like Shiver. I'm excited to read this story, it's been on my TBR list since long before it came out. Thanks for the chance to win!

hmm...I can't think of a YA werewolf story that I've read, but for adults I really liked Kelley Armstrong's Women of the Other World series.
