This book was all about the forbidden passion. 

Megan comes rolling into town and on her first night out she finds instant attraction with a bar owner Becker.  They spend a sexy night together to find out that the next morning will bring new revelations.

Megan doesn’t date firefighters after her father died in a fire.  Becker believes in the best friend code and that guys do not date their best friend’s sisters.  While tagging along with her brother, a firefighter and unbeknownst to Megan, Becker’s best friend, the two realize who each other truly are. However, these two are thrown together throughout the book and the tension between them becomes unbearable.  Both try to fight it but neither can.

Both Becker and Megan have damaged past but something about being around each other seems to ease the pain.  However, Megan’s older brother forbids anything starting between them even though it already has.

Can I just say that the hottest part in this book was the river scene where Megan takes Becker for his photo shoot?  Holy heck!  I think I had to read that part twice just so that I could live it twice.  Becker was freaking hot!
