BookWhisperer Rating:

In this New Adult debut by Robin York, a college student is attacked online and must restore her name—and stay clear of a guy who’s wrong for her, but feels so right.
When Caroline Piasecki’s ex-boyfriend posts their sex pictures on the Internet, it destroys her reputation as a nice college girl. Suddenly her once-promising future doesn’t look so bright. Caroline tries to make the pictures disappear, hoping time will bury her shame. Then a guy she barely knows rises to her defense and punches her ex to the ground.
West Leavitt is the last person Caroline needs in her life. Everyone knows he’s shady. Still, Caroline is drawn to his confidence and swagger—even after promising her dad she’ll keep her distance. On late, sleepless nights, Caroline starts wandering into the bakery where West works.
They hang out, they talk, they listen. Though Caroline and West tell each other they’re “just friends,” their feelings intensify until it becomes impossible to pretend. The more complicated her relationship with West gets, the harder Caroline has to struggle to discover what she wants for herself—and the easier it becomes to find the courage she needs to fight back against the people who would judge her.
When all seems lost, sometimes the only place to go is deeper.
NO..... NO..... No, No, No........(Please excuse me I am having a Kevin Hart moment) This is a hard core emotional rollercoaster. WOW!! I can not even believe how wonderful this entire book was. Caroline is a smart girl with a level head on her shoulders, and to watch this journey of grief, heartache, and humiliation was completely mesmerizing. The heart strings will definitely be pulled from page one, and you will not take a breathe til the very last page. Albeit, that breathe will be the only one you have before finding yourself in a puddle of mud on the floor, because of the heartbreak that is guaranteed to follow. I must scream, " I NEED A WEST!!!!!!" This story is most certainly an intricate web of terribly depressing stories, and every single one will mark your heart, and leave you with an overwhelming love for each individual character. This author has completely blown me away with her incredibly talented style of writing. Every word is carefully crafted to play a movie in the readers mind. There was not one moment that I was uncertain or questioning the story or its direction. Hanging on her every word it was a marathon through this story, and found myself finished with the full length novel in just over 24 hours. I just can not get over what a thrilling read this proved to be, and an instantaneous fan for this debuting author. I will be on the journey for the long haul, and can not wait for a chance glance at Harder, which I believe is going to be the second book in this series. The conclusion has left me in the deep pit of despair along with our main characters, and I have so many hopes for their future. Now, I will be on a mission to find out just how long the wait will be for more. This was the cliff hanger of all cliff hangers, and it will stay with you long past the last page.
