Series: Making Mina Book 2

Mina Hemingway got her revenge and it was even sweeter than she’d dreamed. Marco Genovese was rich, ruthless, and his Italian good looks made him the perfect weapon to strike back at her philandering ex-fiance. Even more important was the fact that he actually seemed to want her! She knew that a night with him was probably playing with fire, but Mina figured… how much damage could a one night stand do?
What looked like the perfect revenge in the heat of the night, though, looked absolutely insane in the harsh light of day. Marco Genovese was way too much man for her to handle, and staying around would only be asking for more heartache, so… Mina ran, leaving only a broken promise and an empty bed behind her.
Marco Genovese never expected to be used and tossed aside. Now he’s plotting his own revenge, determined to make Mina sorry for running out on him. He intends to use every tool at his disposal to get Mina exactly where he wants her—back in his bed—even if he has to blackmail her to do it.

our thoughts Seductively Perfect! This second installment of the Making Mina series just raised the bar for this series of short stories. Mina’s one night stand was hot and intoxicating, but the developments that follow left me breathless. Marco is determined and possessive, but it is not in creeper sort of way. But rather in a please have me, because I want to own every inch of you sort of way. Her abrupt exit from Marco left me heart broken, but his determination proves to make up for the loss. Giving Mina time to determine her own future his character shows new levels of intensity and control. Which leaves us to the abrupt loss of control that rock readers worlds. I absolute love the appearance of the bubbling idiot in this book. Above anything Marco is respectful, and putting Ethan in his place would have to be by far the absolute best part of this book. As this is a short story it will end way to soon, and has left me eager for book three.

I can't see this cover without thinking of Alice Clayton's "Wallbanger" - it's the exact same photo. I really hate when publishers do that, picking an image that's already been used somewhere else.
