Dank meets Pagan and is enamored by her the instant he sees her.  Now, even though she is meant for death, Dank does everything in his power keep her safe and he somewhat can because he is Death.  But now that he has messed with her fate, others are after her soul.  Pagan knows that he is a soul but doesn’t know to the fullest extent who he really is and what he is here for, but this doesn’t stop her heart from falling for her.  In Existence, you want to fight so bad for the truth to come out so that Pagan can realize who Dank really is and how he has been beside her the entire time.  I really liked this book and I already have the second book on my calendar so that when it comes out, I can read it.
