About the book:

"Every single lifetime, I'll choose you. Just as you have chosen me. Forever."

Luce would die for Daniel. And she has. Over and over again. Throughout time, Luce and Daniel have found each other, only to be painfully torn apart: Luce dead, Daniel left broken and alone. But perhaps it doesn’t need to be that way. . . .
Luce is certain that something—or someone—in a past life can help her in her present one. So she begins the most important journey of this lifetime . . . going back eternities to witness firsthand her romances with Daniel . . . and finally unlock the key to making their love last.
Cam and the legions of angels and Outcasts are desperate to catch Luce, but none are as frantic as Daniel. He chases Luce through their shared pasts, terrified of what might happen if she rewrites history.
Because their romance for the ages could go up in flames . . . forever.

review plate Luce and Daniel’s story continues in this angelic novel that carries them through millennia of love and loss. Passion gives background and understanding to the whole Fallen series. Lauren Kate created an exceptional story with a very tedious storyline. As the characters jump through past readers will come to understand more about the past that Luce has only heard of. The pace of this novel compared to that of Fallen and Torment is incredibly slower creating a bit of an obstacle in reading. Although, Kate excelled in keeping the readers attention with some well documented encounters for the past and present Daniel and Luce. Passion has paved the path to what feels will be a big finale. While I enjoyed this book just like all the others of this series; it was no new information, but rather a building of what we already know. The conclusion offers a few highlighted twists that promise for a legendary Good versus Evil battle that will have all been waiting for.
