In My Mailbox #8

I have decided to change up my In My Mailbox post. Typically In My Mailboxes are posted on Sunday and they are books that you have recieved for that week. I don't really want to post these once a week. I have decided that my viewers are going to see my books when I recieve them, and then I don't have to worry about remembering all of the books for one week. So Since Sunday I have recieved two more books.

Review Books:

Undiscovered Gyrl
By Allison Burnett
Thanks to Vintage Books

Book Description from Authors Website:
Beautiful, wild, funny, and lost, Katie Kampenfelt is taking a year off before college to find her passion. Ambitious in her own way, Katie intends to do more than just smoke weed with her boyfriend, Rory, and work at the bookstore. She plans to seduce Dan, a thirty-two-year-old film professor.

Katie chronicles her adventures in an anonymous blog, telling strangers her innermost desires, shames, and thrills. But when Dan stops taking her calls, when her alcoholic father suffers a terrible fall, and when she finds herself drawn into a dangerous new relationship, Katie’s fearless narrative begins to crack, and dark pieces of her past emerge.

Sexually frank, often heartbreaking, and bursting with devilish humor, Undiscovered Gyrl is an extraordinarily accomplished novel of identity, voyeurism, and deceit.

Captivate
By Carrie Jones
(And Yes I did pet the book)
Thanks to Bloomsbury Publishing

Book Description from Bloomsbury Website:

A sequel to the US paranormal smash hit Need, which has teens everywhere thinking about pixies in a very different way . . .

Zara and her friends knew they hadn’t solved the pixie problem for good. Far from it. The king’s needs grow deeper every day he’s stuck in captivity, while his control over his people gets weaker. It’s made him vulnerable. And now there’s a new king in town.

A turf war is imminent. The new pixie king is moving in quickly. He swears that he and Zara are destined to be together, that he’s one of the good guys. Zara isn’t so sure – despite herself, she wants to trust the new king. But there’s a lot more than her relationship with boyfriend Nick at stake. It’s her life – and his.

Undiscovered Girl looks really good! I like your idea of posing "In My Mailbox" more often.

Undiscovered Girl sounds interesting, and I haven't heard of it before. On the other hand, I'm definitely looking forward to Captivate, so enjoy! :)
